Patoranking, Cobinnah grace Glo-sponsored African Voices

This weekend, CNN International’s popular magazine program, African Voices sponsored by Technology Company, Globacom, will showcase the inspiring story of Nigerian music sensation, Patoranking. Host Larry Madowo sits down with the artist to discuss his remarkable journey from the streets of Lagos to global stardom.

Patoranking, born Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, is a renowned Afrobeats and reggae-dancehall singer-songwriter. His rise to fame began as a street performer, and he has since released several hit albums, including “God Over Everything” (2016), “Wilmer” (2019), “Three” (2020), and “World Best” (2023).

African Voices will also feature Derrick Cobinnah, founder of Forces Help Africa, a non-governmental organization that provides support to war veterans in need.

As a UNDP Regional Goodwill Ambassador, Patoranking has used his platform to advocate for youth development in Nigeria. His story serves as a testament to the power of perseverance and determination.

The current edition of African Voices started airing on DSTV Channel 401 om Saturday, with repeats coming up on Sunday at  7p.m. and at 4 a.m. on Monday.
